Technology is pretty neat – but much of the time you aren’t able to get all of the information. That being said, I can see in the ‘search engine information’ that someone has typed in “how much does an ounce of stems” That is all I can see. So … how about if I answer that question with just that much information? Phew … that could be fun!

If the question is about making tincture, then the how much would be either price or quantity. Since we are soon recalculating prices with our business adviser, I’m not going to post prices at this time but the quantity “how much” could be made would be a pint (16 fluid ounces). The type of stems is what is crucial. Are you speaking of a big “branch” type stem, or the small stems that the flowers would be picked from? The latter makes a top notch tincture and is a welcome addition to most any remedy. The larger stems are nice for other remedies or in addition to the juicy flower stems for tincture. They have distinctly different flavors.

At Albany’s Canna Kitchen & Research, LLC, it is all about the flavor and that is why “We wash your weed!” If you’ve had medicated brownies in the past that tasted like ‘mint’ you’ve had cannabis that had been sprayed (as is typical) but was not washed before it was infused into the cooking medium. Yuk. That is not what cannabis tastes like! Even if the sprays are organic, I don’t want to eat them and I don’t imagine you do either. Don’t worry about loss of value to your plant matter, that is not the case!
